A New Christmas Crusade

Michelle Malkin has done it again!! She is starting a new crusade for Christmas, and I'd like to urge all my readers to follow her lead and "contribute" to her (and my, and should be your cause).

Michelle writes in her blog today to give us news regarding the further persecution of Christians, and the Christian faith by the political leftists. The mayor of Denver, Colorado, has launched a war of persecution (you can't call it a jihad, well, since that's not a Christian word, maybe you can) against a church group that wanted to take part in the annual Christmas parade. (I refuse to rename it like the p.c. crowd did).

Here is the article that Ms. Malkin brings our attention to (in part):

  • Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper recently announced that next year the phrase "Merry Christmas" will be removed from the city building and replaced with "Happy Holidays." And now a church group who wants to march in the Parade of Lights and sing Christmas carols will not be allowed to participate in the parade. Organizers say the parade is about the holidays, not Christmas.
How ridiculous is this? Well, as common sense would dictate, pretty ridiculous! - Therefore Ms. Malkin has started a "Christmas Crusade". It's called the Lump of Coal campaign. The idea is that you would box up a lump of coal (yes, real coal) and send it to the mayor of Denver as a protest of this idiotic policy. She invites us to join her, and to take a photo of the package before it's sent and she'll post, or link to it.

Great Idea Michelle! No wonder you are my favorite writer!... I am going to join this campaign, urge all my friends to join as well, and see if we can't get the message to the moron, and more hopefully his constituants, that this policy of his is wrong. Just plain WRONG! -

Find a coal retailer and call them for some coal to send.
